Looking Into the Future

 Hola everyone! 

  Thanks for putting up with all of my catching up these last few months. Even though this is slotted for the July 23rd slot, I'm currently writing this at the end of August. Take that how you will. 

  I'm looking ahead at some of the other things going on in my schedule for the year. Honestly, I can't say how intense the rest of 2022 will be, but no doubt there will be a lot to take care of. 

  • I still have November Novel Writing Month to do. That will still continue, no matter what happens. I have to write the fourth story, after all.
  • I will be working on the Ultimate Character Database for my omniverse during the month of September, which means a new Google form and possible corresponding Google Doc will be made available soon. 
  • Blog posts will keep flowing in, as intended. Depending on how my schedule looks for the rest of 2022, they will be written during my once-a-week streams I am thinking about taking on. Regardless, I'm still going to be working on them and trying to get them posted as close to weekly as I can. 
    In the meantime, I will probably be trying to navigate my first steps into my 30th year around the sun (or 31st, if you want to be technical). There is a lot I am noticing needs to change or needs to finish so I can enjoy the next decade of my life.

For the first time in four years, those people may feel seen and valued.  If you did get what you wanted/needed, comfort and/or pray for those who did not. For the first time in four years, those people may feel uncertain and scared of their future.  No matter who you are as an American, please prepare to make the next four years the best they can be for yourself and others. Canlanma Street Level, Story 1

Story 1    The holy incense follows the disciples out of the gilded temple hall. The Shepherd continues to swing the burner as he repeats the old mantras of the faith. The last disciple leaves and the burner settles as the Shepherd contemplates the list of rituals he must perform before the sun sets. The ritual implements have to be cleaned, the sacrifices burned, the acolytes of the temple purified, the-   "Shepherd Thanatos, we have a situation that requires your attention." An acolyte of the temple calls from below the altar. The Shepherd sighs and recites his calming mantra: "What I am about to do has not been approved." The Shepherd walks slowly behind the altar and finds the symbol on the side as he recites "chao regnat" under his breath. The symbol glows and opens a trap door under the altar.
