Description:

A large temple found in unexplored forest of X-elia capital planet. Temple has entry and altar room above ground with an underground labyrinth of treasure rooms, libraries, and other special rooms underground. The underground area seems to reach through the planet's layers with little corrosion or decay. All passages are sealed with a puzzle and a cryptic message. Once the cryptic message is decoded, it provides information either about the puzzle or the area around the puzzle.


Scholar's Information:

According to the local information, this temple is called Tapmaka Tapmaca. It is one that predates the current civilization setup and the three before it. Since X-elian civilization keeps a great record of previous civilizations due to time-travel scholarship, we know that this temple was specifically built for the Creator and those who align with the Creator's mission. The cryptograms are enchanted and will be solved along a set timeframe determined by the identity of the initial recipient of the first cryptogram. The first cryptogram is received via a spiritual telepathic download from the builders of Tapmaka Tapmaca. 

Each puzzle focuses not only on the solvers' skills, but also any weaknesses within the mental and spiritual capabilities of the solvers. This means that those chosen to solve the puzzles will undergo a style of growth similar to the heroic journey pattern in literature.

  1. Find more individuals who receive the first cryptogram.
  2. Monitor Tapmaka Tapmaca for any parties entering and leaving.
  3. Explore Tapmaka Tapmaca with multiple non-biological entities or devices to see if the temple will allow them entrance and passage.

Story 1    The holy incense follows the disciples out of the gilded temple hall. The Shepherd continues to swing the burner as he repeats the old mantras of the faith. The last disciple leaves and the burner settles as the Shepherd contemplates the list of rituals he must perform before the sun sets. The ritual implements have to be cleaned, the sacrifices burned, the acolytes of the temple purified, the-   "Shepherd Thanatos, we have a situation that requires your attention." An acolyte of the temple calls from below the altar. The Shepherd sighs and recites his calming mantra: "What I am about to do has not been approved." The Shepherd walks slowly behind the altar and finds the symbol on the side as he recites "chao regnat" under his breath. The symbol glows and opens a trap door under the altar.
