Silliness!

     "Look at all of this!" 

    Renegade stares at all of my writing. There is quite a bit of it on the Google Doc in front of me, but not as much as the last time she saw the writing I am doing. "Why are you writing my story again, Ani?"

    "Because I need to refine it. All that gibberish needs to be tinkered with." I grin and keep writing while looking at the old writing. 

    "Just don't do anything super crazy, alright? I don't need a story that's as messed up as Amethyst's is now." 

    "I heard that!" Amethyst yells from my room on the other side of basement where I am typing. We both laugh. Renegade watches me write while I listen to some music and YouTube videos.

    Just a little something to let you all know that I am still alive, just busy. I have been doing a lot of stream writing on Twitch, but outside of that and all the job and skill-related stuff I am doing... Well, needless to say, I haven't had a lot of time otherwise.

    Hopefully, once I get a little further into the story, I can get something special going for this blog. Maybe another fiction series? Or a re-imagining of a fiction series? I am not 100% sure yet. I'll have to take a look at what I have. 

    In the meantime, have a great week! I hope to see you when I stream or when I am online in general.

Canlanma Street Level, Story 1

Story 1    The holy incense follows the disciples out of the gilded temple hall. The Shepherd continues to swing the burner as he repeats the old mantras of the faith. The last disciple leaves and the burner settles as the Shepherd contemplates the list of rituals he must perform before the sun sets. The ritual implements have to be cleaned, the sacrifices burned, the acolytes of the temple purified, the-   "Shepherd Thanatos, we have a situation that requires your attention." An acolyte of the temple calls from below the altar. The Shepherd sighs and recites his calming mantra: "What I am about to do has not been approved." The Shepherd walks slowly behind the altar and finds the symbol on the side as he recites "chao regnat" under his breath. The symbol glows and opens a trap door under the altar.
