Mission: Relocation
"So, here's what we do. We just let them have the East Coast."
"Wait, are you serious? You are going to let them have the East Coast?"
"Yes. They want to protect the America they believe in, we give them that part. Heck, convince them all to move onto the East Coast. Tell them they will have a better life there with the Constitution and Washington D.C. by the balls. That they can do what they want with the White House. Knowing them, they will turn it into a big Waffle House."
"But what about the others? There are so many that will be displaced."
"Move them to the West Coast. Here get me a map. Alright. Look, let's give these guys all of the East Coast. Maine to Florida, Delaware All the way to the Mississippi. It will give them enough room to still have farms and everything. Then we take everyone who doesn't want to be with that group over to the West Coast. Washington state down to California, all the way out to Utah. They will have all the things they need to live the life they want to have."
"That makes sense. Then those guys can stay away from each other physically and keep their communal ideas together. What about the others though, sir? The ones that don't want to be with either group?"
"We give them everything else. They are strong enough to withstand both groups, keep them out of the money-making zone. They will be able to take care of the other two with all of the farmland and space to really get back to basics. They can establish an agreement to keep the two groups away from each other and away from this more neutral, practical zone. They can just focus on living their lives and keeping everything running smoothly. Sure, they will want to change things. And we'll let them. I trust their reasoning and wisdom before I trust the others."
"That's understandable. So... Republican affiliations on the East Coast, Democratic affiliations on the West Coast, and the neutral folks in the heartland. They will be happy with that."
"Yes, yes they will be. Let's get the politicians split up as well, to avoid any problems. Those who wish to claim Republican support can stay in Washington D.C., the Democratic supported ones can go to Las Vegas. And the neutral party -which we are a part of- will move to Pierre."
"And what if we have some rebellious ones."
"We won't give them the space to protest. Get the National Guard and make sure the media starts their campaigns. We only have two years to get everyone to where they need to be before our judgment begins. And I want to make sure we do this right this time."
