Book Review #11
Discovering Christian Witchcraft: A Beginner's Guide for Everyday Practice
By Emyle D Prata and Sara Raztresen
So, I am going to be honest here. I have only gotten through three chapters of this book.
I will say that this is not due to the content I have read. In all actuality, the book itself is actually been a really interesting read! The first three chapters have actually been really informative and thought-provoking. Both authors go into detail on their research, which is extremely amazing. They have obviously done a lot of research and read a lot of scholarly work to come to the conclusions they have.
With that in mind, the problem I have with this book is that it is densely formatted. Not that the actual information is dense, thought it can come across that way for those who are not familiar with scholarly work or discussion. The problem I had is that the formatting of this book, particularly the line density, was what made it difficult on my end to read for long periods of time. I think this may be on the result of the printer/publisher's end, not on the authors' end.
I do plan to continue reading this book, so there may be an update to this book review at a much later date.
